How does the bottle shop work?
The bottle shop is open Wednesday through Saturday, 12p-8p, dedicated to one on one wine sales, and we're happy to assist you in answering any and all wine questions. Online shopping is always available, for pickup Wednesday-Saturday. If you are in need of a Sunday/Monday pickup when we’re closed, you can send an email to email@example.com, but we can’t guarantee availability.
What kind of wine do you sell?
We carry exclusively natural, organic, and biodynamic wine- or, in other words, wine made with minimal intervention in the vineyard and cellar, free of pesticides/herbicides/chemicals, made with native/ambient yeast, vegan, and typically unfined and unfiltered. Sulfur use is kept to a minimum, typically added in very small amounts at bottling. Not every producer is certified organic, for a variety of reasons, but every producer we carry is farming organically.
Do I have to order online/ahead of time?
Nope! You are more than welcome to, but are not required to. If you prefer contactless/curbside pickup, ordering ahead is encouraged either online or over the phone, but please remember to show ID.
Do you deliver?
We don’t partner with any delivery services or actively promote our own delivery service, but occasionally local delivery is an option. If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org
Can you ship wine?
We are not able to ship wine at this time.
Can I special order bottles that aren’t on your list or bottles that are sold out?
If you have questions regarding unavailable bottles, whether sold out or not on the list at all, please reach out to us via email.
Can I order online when you are closed?
Online ordering is available all the time - https://app.upserve.com/s/apteka-pittsburgh/ - just be sure to add a pickup day & time to your order. Pickup is available Wednesday-Saturday.
Can you recommend some bottles?
There are a lot of bottles and a lot of producers on our list, which can be overwhelming, and we love to talk about all of them. We are happy to do so in person, on the phone, or through email.
Will the bottle shop exist when you re-open for dine-in?
